We built Alchemy Forge as a game with no ads and no hidden mechanics. We collect the minimum amount of data – only what is necessary for purchases to work and to improve the game.

The PC version (Steam) collects NOTHING. It has no analytics, no crash reporting and no in-app purchases: the game makes no network requests at all. Everything described below about data collection applies to the mobile versions only.

Purchases are processed directly through Google Play or the App Store. We neither store nor see your bank card details. Receipt validation and the record of which chapters you own are handled by RevenueCat – we run no servers of our own that receive this data. The receipt contains no payment details.
RevenueCat assigns the device an anonymous identifier so that purchases can be restored on the same store account. It is not linked to your name, email or payment details.
If you write to us via "Contact us" in the game settings, the email subject is pre-filled with the game version, platform and this anonymous purchase identifier – we use it to find your purchases so we can restore or grant a chapter. You see the subject before sending and can change it; the email is only sent if you send it yourself. From such an email we learn your email address and what you wrote, and we use this only to reply and help you with the game.
To restore purchases, use the "Restore purchases" button in the game settings – it works through your store's API.
Game progress and settings are stored exclusively on your device. We have no access to your progress and do not store it on our servers. When you uninstall the app, all local data is removed with it.
Anonymous analytics data is kept in Firebase for no more than 14 months.
Alchemy Forge is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we show no advertising.
The age at which a child can consent to data processing differs by country: 13 in the United States (COPPA), between 13 and 16 across EU member states (16 by default), and 13 in the United Kingdom. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information, write to alchemyforgesupport@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Since we do not collect personal data, most data-deletion rights are exercised by simply uninstalling the app. If you have questions, write to us: alchemyforgesupport@gmail.com
If you are located in the EU or the UK, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection supervisory authority.
For material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes your acceptance of the new version.
